Debuting in 1999, Family Guy follows the wacky adventures of the Griffins, an average family who live in the fictional town of Quahog, Rhode Island. Noted for its distinctly politically incorrect humor, Family Guy follows in the footsteps of its predecessors like The Simpsons, by spoofing the American nuclear family and all of the trappings of modern life. However, Family Guy sets itself apart by never straying away from hot-button topics.
