Young Sheldon creator Steve Holland reveals how Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage will build on the story arcs of Mary and Missy Cooper. The CBS series follows Georgie (Montana Jordan) as he manages a married life in Texas with Mandy (Emily Osment) and their journey through adulthood and parenthood. Meanwhile, Mary Cooper (Zoe Perry), who is still grappling with the loss of George Sr., leans deeper into her fundamentalist faith, while Missy (Raegan Revord) continues to rebel against the expectations of her family. The spinoff is designed to bridge the character development between Young Sheldon and The Big Bang Theory.
