John Wick's Caine spinoff movie, which will star Donnie Yen, receives a positive update from franchise co-creator and director Chad Stahelski. The franchise began life with 2014's action-revenge sleeper hit John Wick, which starred Keanu Reeves as the titular assassin. The film grossed almost $90 million worldwide, and spawned three direct sequels, with the most recent, John Wick: Chapter 4, featuring Yen's Caine, a skilled blind assassin. A Caine spinoff was officially announced in May of this year.
