The 2001 war drama Band of Brothers is well-known for its accurate depiction of World War II, yet the show makes some changes from the book it's based on. Created by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, the 10-episode mini-series tells the story of the real-life men of Easy Company, who landed in France on D-Day and fought valiantly throughout Europe until the end of the war.
