Reacher's Roscoe Mistake Mirrored Jack Ryan, But I'll Be Disappointed If It Takes As Long To Fix

After watching Reacher and Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan fall in love with formidable female characters in their respective season 1s, I was disappointed they were both dropped from their season 2s. Jack Ryan season 4 brought girlfriend Cathy Mueller back, but she was completely absent from the middle seasons. Jack Reacher introduced feisty small-town cop Roscoe Conklin in season 1, but she too disappeared. The storylines and heroes from both shows suffered from losing their main love interests. I'm hoping Reacher won't make the same mistake as Jack Ryan and bring Roscoe back sooner.
