Sauron has shed tears in a couple of instances in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, and the common denominator between these proves just how right Galadriel is about his character. The Prime Video series has shown the Dark Lord on-screen as never before, diving into more nuanced motivations for his evil deeds. While Sauron is entirely evil and irredeemable, no matter how you look at it, it's fascinating to see how he deceives himself into thinking he is the answer to Middle-earth's problems.
