Escape Plan is one of Sylvester Stallone's lesser known franchises, but in what order do they take place in? After breaking through with Rocky in 1976, Stallone quickly realized the value of building up franchises. He had both the Rocky and Rambo sagas to lean on when he needed a guaranteed hit, and he later created The Expendables for the same reason. Escape Plan is arguably Stallone's worst franchise, though that doesn't necessarily mean there's no fun to be had with them.
