In the Pokmon anime, Ash has caught and trained many Pokmon over the years, turning many a small creature into some of the strongest Pokmon ever seen. On top of that, Ash has had the good fortune to encounter several notably powerful Pokmon, some of whom obtained that power on their own, and some of which had their latent power unlocked by Ash.
