A recent DCU casting update suggests Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will follow a similar plot to John Wick. Set to release on June 26, 2026, the DCU's upcoming Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow movie will be based on the eponymous comic book storyline written by Tom King in 2021. Given the character's comic inspirations, Milly Alcock's Kara Zor-El will be an experienced, independent superhero long before her arrival on Earth. In fact, Supergirl's first DCU adventure will likely take place far away from Kal-El's second home.
