Ryan Murphys Grotesquerie reunites him with some of his previous collaborators, and its also the first major acting role of a very popular football player. Ryan Murphy continues his work in the horror genre outside of American Horror Story and Monster with Grotesquerie, though this project quickly drew comparisons to American Horror Story in terms of its tone and way of approaching horror. However, Grotesquerie aims to take horror a bit further than previous Murphy projects have done, and for that, it brings old and new talents into the Murphyverse.
