Squid Game season 1's finale packs in many twists for Player 456, aka Seong Gi-hun, but season 2 appears to be reversing one of the most shocking changes. The hit Korean show Squid Game took the world by storm because of its brutal, unflinching exploration of serious issues through a dystopian concept. Unsurprisingly, Netflix quickly picked up Squid Game season 2 and even expanded on the franchise with a reality TV game show and a mobile game called Squid Game: Unleashed coming to the Netflix app at the same time as the second season.
