9-1-1: Lone Star co-showrunner and executive producer Rashad Raisani has teased the ending of the show ahead of its final season, promising an "apocalyptic ending" during the series finale. The 9-1-1 spinoff follows New York City firefighter Owen Strand (Rob Lowe) moving to Austin, Texas, balancing his personal life with the new duties he has in the city. Despite delayed news surrounding its renewal, partially because of dwindling ratings, it was later announced that 9-1-1: Lone Star season 5 would be happening. Although it was later confirmed this will be the final season of the long-running spinoff.
