I'm bummed out about how CBS handled a giant Ghosts twist ahead of season 4. During San Diego Comic-Con, the series announced that Utkarsh Ambudkar's Jay would be able to see ghosts in season 4. I was shocked by the announcement. Jay's wife, Sam, played by Rose McIver, can interact with the dead at the Woodstone Mansion. After inheriting the mansion, Sam falls down the staircase, leaving her with a bizarre connection to the ghosts of the CBS series. Jay's comedic inability to see ghosts where his wife can is the entire premise on which the series stands.
