Power Rangers morph rules are very confusing, and even the show has admitted how ridiculously long the heroes take to change their costumes. As a Super Sentai adaptation, Power Rangers features most if not all tropes from the Japanese franchise. This includes the long morphing calls, which have been part of the shows charm since its debut in 1993 with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. That said, it takes some suspension of disbelief not to question why the villains dont just attack the Power Rangers while theyre morphing.
