Steven Spielberg has become synonymous with World War 2 movies and TV shows, but Masters of the Air essentially capped off a filmmaking obsession dating back to the early '60s. Since his first feature film released in 1963, Spielberg has become one of the most prolific filmmakers and storytellers in history. With titles like Jaws, Indiana Jones, ET, The Color Purple, Jurassic Park, and Lincoln (to name a few) under his belt, there's no question why Spielberg is considered one of the best of the best. Granted, his WW2 interest has been a lifelong thing.
