Nier: Automata Ver1.1a followed episode #16 with an equally dramatic episode in episode #17, and it was the perfect way to set the stage for the animes next act with episode #18 and beyond. Once again, the anime has done a great job of expanding on the material of the original game, and it continues to make it great to watch for old and new fans alike.
