Amazon Prime Video's remake of Road House was a certified streaming hit in 2024, and now a Road House sequel is in the works with star Jake Gyllenhaal set to return. Based on the eponymous 1989 classic (originally starring Patrick Swayze), Road House follows tough-but-fair bouncer Elwood Dalton who takes a gig working at a dangerous bar in the Florida Keys. Stuffed with plenty of machismo action and humorous quips, the remake captured much of the same cheesy spirit as its 1989 predecessor.
