The Bear makes several references to Neil Fak's many family members, most of whom have yet to appear on the show. Played by real-life chef Matty Matheson on The Bear, Fak was the unofficial mechanic at the Beef who became more involved with the establishment during the renovations for the now-titular restaurant. He has known Mikey since childhood and, like Richie, is treated like an honorary member of the Berzatto family.
