Star Trek: Section 31 has revealed the actor who will be playing a younger version of Michelle Yeoh's Georgiou in the film during their panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Originally planned as a spinoff series to Star Trek: Discovery, Section 31 is now a movie that will see Emperor Phillipa Georgiou rejoining Starfleet's secret spy division. The film is at least partially set during the "lost era" of Star Trek in the early 24th century, and Georgiou's arrival in this era was first teased when she traveled back in time during Discovery season 2.
