Comic book movies may receive a little too much flak, but there is no denying that a select few Marvel and DC offerings are nothing short of perfect. Superhero films are more of a mainstay in cinema than they have ever been thanks to some of the most iconic comic book movies launching the genre into the stratosphere. The sheer number that exists today means that creators are under more pressure to deliver some semblance of uniqueness - and these examples certainly deliver.
