Beetlejuice Beetlejuice's age rating has now been revealed, and it's a change from the original. Released in 1988, Tim Burton's Beetlejuice has ascended to cult classic status, and it remains one of the director's most beloved films. He's now set to continue the story of Michael Keaton's titular bio-exorcist in a sequel, which will also star returning actors Winona Ryder and Catherine O'Hara, and newcomers Jenna Ortega, Monica Bellucci, and Willem Dafoe. The Beetlejuice Beetlejuice trailers have already teased an adventure very similar to the original film.
