Ever since the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special, animation has been used to expand the franchise, following new characters or digging into key periods in galactic history. After exploring the fall of the Republic and early days of the Empire through the eyes of the Clones for three seasons, Star Wars: The Bad Batch came to a conclusion in May, resolving the latest animated series.
