Debuting on Fox in 1989, The Simpsons is one of the longest running TV shows currently on the air. It quickly became one of the most successful shows in the network's history, surviving until Disney purchased Fox in 2019. Now one of the tentpole franchises for the House of Mouse, The Simpsons is still going strong, with season 36 already confirmed and on the way.
