I Think Star Trek: Lower Decks Isn't Dead Yet

I think Star Trek: Lower Decks isn't quite dead yet. The announcement of the end of Star Trek: Lower Decks came earlier this year, along with the renewal of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds for season 4. It makes sense for Star Trek: Lower Decks to reach a natural ending, given the concept of Lower Decks focusing on the USS Cerritos' junior officers. On the official Star Trek Instagram account, however, a statement from series creator Mike McMahan and Star Trek showrunner Alex Kurtzman indicated Lower Decks' ending was unplanned, saying they "remain hopeful ... that the whole Cerritos crew will live on with new adventures."
