When Netflix announced that Arcane season 2 would be the show's final outing, I felt fine with that decision. Years later, I can't help but feel differently about the idea of Vi and Jinx's darker story coming to an end so soon. Set in the League of Legends universe, Arcane was announced at the popular video game franchise's 10th anniversary celebration. Although Riot Games' League boasts a staggering 140 to 160 million active users per month, not everyone who subscribes to Netflix is familiar with the game. Still, the tie-in series Arcane exceeded expectations both mine and, probably, Netflix's.
