Though Teen Wolf ended seven years ago, its legacy hasn't been forgotten, and an upcoming Netflix series can be its perfect replacement. The concept of teenage werewolves has been popular in Hollywood for decades now. The original Teen Wolf was a 1985 movie starring Michael J. Fox as the eponymous teen who discovers he's a werewolf. A year later, an animated series came out, then a film sequel. Finally, from 2011 to 2017, MTV released the young adult series that rejuvenated the original 1980s story and kept the werewolf trope alive for six Teen Wolf seasons.
