Tom Bombadil will officially be making an appearance in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 2, and I can't wait to finally hear him sing. This will be the first time the jovial, sing-song character will be brought to a live-action adaptation of Tolkien's works since he was left out of Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Of course, Bombadil is frequently omitted for a good reasonhe has little to do with the central plot, and his nature contradicts the darker tones of Sauron's conflict. Still, I can't help but be excited about this rare appearance.
