Continuing the success of the procedural mystery comedy Monk which ran from 2002 until 2009, Mr. Monk's Last Case sees the eponymous detective called out of retirement to help solve a mysterious death that strikes close to home. Despite more than a decade away from their respective roles, most of the cast returned and recaptured the magic that made the series so popular in the aughts.
