Chris Hemsworth provides a disappointing update on his and Joker director Todd Phillips's planned Hulk Hogan biopic. Hemsworth rose to global fame playing the character of Thor, the God of Thunder, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and is next slated to star in the upcoming Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Hogan rose to prominence in WWE (then named WWF), and became the most popular and recognizable wrestling star of the 1980s. He is regarded as integral to helping bring the sport to mainstream prominence. A Hulk Hogan biopic involving Hemsworth and Phillips has been in development for several years now.
