The DC Universe is currently preparing for the release of Joker: Folie Deux, but May 1, 2024, will be a bad day for its marketing campaign thanks to one very questionable decision. The DC Universe continues expanding, as do other parallel branches, such as the universe where Todd Phillips Joker lives. In 2019, Phillips brought a new, different take on the Clown Prince of Crime in Joker, which, instead of being a superhero movie, was a psychological thriller following the origin of the man that would become the anarchic iconic known as Joker.
