Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon franchise is expanding to six movies in a new approach to the trilogy, co-writer Kurt Johnstad reveals. Directed by Snyder, with a script he co-wrote with Johnstad and Shay Hatten, the sci-fi franchise follows a young woman with a mysterious past who leads a rebellion against an evil galactic empire. Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire was released on Netflix in December 2023 with Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver releasing on April 19, and there are already plans for a third film to complete the trilogy.
