A new Heroes sequel series has been confirmed to be in development. Initially premiering in 2006, this acclaimed NBC superhero drama series which ran for four seasons followed the lives of random individuals whose destinies and paths become intertwined after they discover they have superpowers following a mysterious solar eclipse. Following the sudden cancelation of the show in 2010, a follow-up miniseries titled Heroes Reborn was released in 2015, but it didn’t extend past season 1 as NBC also failed to renew the show for subsequent seasons.
