New footage has offered further details about Twisters. The upcoming movie, which was directed by Minari's Lee Isaac Chung, is a sequel to the 1996 storm-chaser disaster movie Twister, which was the second highest-grossing movie of that year worldwide behind Roland Emmerich's Independence Day. The sequel, which follows a scientist trying to test a system for tracking tornadoes, features a cadre of rising stars including Normal People's Daisy Edgar-Jones, Anyone But You's Glen Powell, and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts' Anthony Ramos.
