Michael B. Jordan is making a new vampire movie, and it may have just stolen one of the more exciting parts of Marvel Studios' Blade reboot. It was announced in early 2024 that Jordan was re-teaming with director Ryan Coogler to make a new genre movie. While details on it were sparse at the start, the reports that Jordan and Coogler were making a vampire movie immediately increased excitement. This also meant the beginning of comparisons between what Jordan's new vampire movie franchise will look like compared to Marvel's upcoming Blade reboot starring Mahershala Ali.
