Even after a month of playing in theaters, Dune: Part Two has passed yet another box office milestone. Based on the novel by Frank Herbert, the epic movie, directed by Denis Villeneuve, finishes the two-part adaptation and follows Paul Atreides as he becomes one with the desert and Fremen, achieving his revenge upon the Harkonnen and his status as messiah along the way. At the time of this writing, Dune: Part Two's box office has grossed $631 million worldwide, keeping its status as the No. 1 release of the year so far.
