Dune: Part Two touches on the complex relationship between the Great Houses of the Landsraad and their most powerful weapons, yet the movie never really resolves why neither the Atreides nor Harkonnens use them on each other. But, despite having access to this firepower, Paul is reluctant to engage in a direct attack with his new arsenal.
