The greatest strength of AMC’s The Walking Dead has always been its ability to switch focus between main characters as its story unfolds. The epic zombie apocalypse saga began with Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) firmly at its center, but it has evolved across more than 15 years to shift between a huge range of different perspectives. Characters who were once supporting players have gradually become leading figures capable of carrying entire chapters of the franchise themselves.
